Debbie arrived here yesterday. We were supposed to pick her up at 11:30 pm. When she got to the airport in Phoenix one leg of her flight was already cancelled, but they got her onto a direct flight that arrived in Seattle at 5:00 pm. That was good for us because we were in the middle of a major snowstorm. The roads were horrible on the way over but much worse on the way back. Our normal 1 and 1/2 hour trip took 3 hours. It was a long and scary trip. The airport was shutting down as we picked her up. Our church was cancelled today because we had over 12 inches of snow. Since this morning we have received about another 6 inches. Yes that is 18 inches of snow, in a place that rarely gets any. We were trying to bring Ginger's little car home because it got left at Wal Mart last night and got it all the way home but as soon as we turned onto Deyette Road it came to an abrupt stop in about 14 inches of snow that had not been plowed. I, yes me, shoveled all the snow out from around the car and Wayne finally got it driven home. I guess we are stuck here until Rich gets home. Michelle went to work, hope she gets home okay. Penny's work called her and told her not to come. It's pretty funny, because there are virtually no snow plows and no one knows how to drive in the snow. We are lucky because we didn't loose our electricity. As long as we can keep that we are all okay. Just a little bit snowed in. The dogs are loving it. We are supposed to get snow off and on all week long. I guess we are going to have a white Christmas this year instead of a wet one like last year. Merry Christmas
Our car when we got up this morning - about 12 inches
Stuck in Ginger's car at the top of the road
The long trip down the road towards the house
Our house is straight at the end of this road

Hope you are enjoying the snow. Everybody stay safe, and I hope you guys have a good Christmas. Ezra hopes Santa won't really bring him a lump of coal even though he has been naughty...
