My dad's birthday & My son's birthday

Brandon was born on February 14, 1979. It was his grandpa Larry's 50th birthday. What a birthday present. His first grandson born on his birthday. We love Brandon and Tiff and their family very much. They have accomplished many things. They are the parents of 10 kids and they are doing a wonderful job. Brandon works very hard and so does Tiff. The kids are a hoot. Happy birthday Brandon.

My dad was born on Feb 14, 1929. After he was born, and when grandma was sleeping, 2 of grandma's sisters decided to name him Larry Valentino. They actually filled out the birth certificate and had it sent in. When grandma found out she hated it and had it officially changed to Larry Vance. I have copies of both birth certificates. He lived in Shumway his whole life. He was born there and he died there. His father passed away when he was only about 5 years old. It was hard on all of them. They had a tough life. He survived and he did it well. He did lots of stuff in his life. He went on a mission, served in the Navy, and did extensive traveling when he and mom were older. He lived a good life and we love him very much. We are sad since he (and mom) have gone, but we know we can see them again. Here are some pictures of him. I have many more, but just picked a few.

Ronna - those old pictures are absolutely amazing, they stir the soul. We sure are glad you gave birth to that amazing son of yours. He has blessed our family in so many ways and he is so good to my sister!!
